I treat cloths with it for all hunting.

Will stop ticks. Just not tickets.

I used some sort of cedar oil last year and never had 1 tick on me, buddies that hunted with me that did not use it ended up with ticks. I can’t think of the name of it -spray bottle is in camper

Permethrin as previously suggested. You can buy it pre-mixed from Sawyer or buy it in bulk at Tractor Supply and mix it yourself. It's much cheaper that way.
