    Need Some Tuning Resources

I just happened into my first compound bow. I've shot trad for years, and understand the principles of bareshaft tuning. But I have no clue what all you can/should/should not do to a compound to get it properly tuned. I know about moving the rest in and out for dealing with left/right tears, but I need some resources to understand things like timing, cam lean(is that the right phrase?), how to tune a dropaway rest, etc. I've read a lot of this stuff in passing but I can't remember where, or the specifics.

I dunno if I'll keep the bow long term, but I want to at least tune it up and hoot it to see if I like it.

p.s. the bow is a Hoyt Spyder 34s. Are those limbs parallel? Past parallel?

Basically, what do I need to learn to do all the tuning work myself? I already know I need a bow press and some wrenches.

        That is a hybrid cam.
1 Make sure strings and cables are @ factory specs.
2 Set rest to manufactures recommended distance from riser and level the arrow with nock point or rest adjustment.
3 shoot bare shaft through paper and yoke tune.
4 double check arrow spine on vap arrow online spine calculator, should actually be first step
