I have high hopes for the Aggies this year. They have a solid chance of making the playoffs and winning it, but I will be happy with New years bowl win as well.

Finally, it's here!

I'm looking forward to seeing what Sark puts on the field and hopefully he doesn't have a binder that dictates his play calling. Card has a ton of hype from folks within the program, I hope he can lead this team and produce W's.

Let's go! Hopeful Sark can get the Horns rolling. I think 8-4 is realistic. Drop one out of the first 5. Then OU loss, ISU loss and drop one out of WVU or KSU.

Hook'em!

I love the confidence from the Ags on the season. Sounds like you guys are in for a fun season.

I am ready to see Texas take the field and see what they look like. Reports from the program are positive and have me feeling better than previous years, but I want to see them with my own eyes a few times to really see what is going on.

Saturday evening cannot get here fast enough. Aggies open against Kent State. Not a spectacular opponent but you never know in college football. Really looking to see what Haynes King does behind center.

Cautiously Optimistic. Hoping the Strong and Herman Hangover is gone and Sark can start turning things around with his seemingly improved coaching staff. Looking for a big dose of Bijan Robinsonin game one. I for one am also excited about having a more accurate QB throwing the football. Hopefully, he has all the other attributes needed to make the leap as well. Gonna be some growing pains from a RS freshman, but might as well get them over with. No dove plans for the LA game since I'll be hunting this Wednesday/opening day. I'll be tuned in to the new 75" big screen hoping for good things from my Horns.

And yes...before it is asked by Brock from his mom's basement, I will be dove hunting the night of the Arkie/Horn game. I'll catch the second half if I can.

Hook 'em Horns!! LFG!!

I'm ready for some College football! Hoping the Longhorns have a great year, but worried about the first 2 games. The Louisiana team is good, and they always have trouble with Arkansas. If they can win the first 2 games and get some experience, and get some momentum going, then I think Oklahoma will be the only team beating them. Hook-Em!

One of my all-time favorite weekends of the year. Blast some dove in the morning. Fellowship and watch games all afternoon. Blast some dove in the evening. Watch games all night. Enjoy some great food, fellowship, and beverages. Cannot wait!

Iím excited about the season for my Ags. I have high hopes of CFP and a Natty. Love what Jimbo has done with the program and the recruiting. Iím eager to see how our retooled line and King perform even against a lesser opponent like Kent State.

Schedule works out great for us. Bama early and at home gives us a good chance. Those bayou cats always scare me at the end of the season though. We are set up for a tremendous run as long as the question marks we have come out with positive answers.

Ags have let me down and broke my heart before though, so I always have some trepidation, lol.

I think OU is poised for a great season and Iím hoping that Sark rights the ship in Texas. (Unlike some, I prefer tu and my Ags to be great at the same time. Makes the rivalry better and the games mean more, especially with us getting to play each other again soon.) Iíll be watching those two programs closely. Lot of new QB blood at the elite schools. (OSU, Bama, Clemson) Itíll be a good season seeing who shakes out at the top.

My daughter got in line this morning to pull tickets for the first home game of her Senior year at A&M. I'm most excited for her and pray that we get through the season without any COVID nuttiness. I think the Ags are in a great spot and I expect a strong showing this year!

Geaux Cajuns

Coach Billy Napier has built a solid foundation of leaders, and this team has lots of confidence coming off a 10-1 season last year. ULL has claimed 3 consecutive SunBelt West division titles. QB Levi Lewis is a 5th Yr Sr who is 24-4 as a starter. Every member of the WR/TE rotation is back. The 5 OL starters have a combined 107 starts and 7,200 snaps among them. Louisiana's current running game is unproven since they lost 2 starting Senior RB's to the NFL. The Cajuns picked up former Texas A&M RB Jacob Kibodi through the transfer portal. At one time, Kibodi looked to be the top RB at A&M until Isaiah Spiller (then a true FR) proved that he was THE MAN. Kibodi returns home and should see significant playing time for the Cajuns.

On defense, ULL picked up 2 transfers from Georgia (DL) and Missouri (LB) respectively. In the secondary, Louisiana ranked 2nd Nationally (2020) in pass efficiency, and held 7 of 11 opponents below 200 passing yards. Obviously the game @ Texas will be won in the trenches. I expect it to be competitive through 3Q's with the ULL D seeing a heavy dose of Bijan. Cajuns definitely have a punchers chance. Louisiana can win the game by forcing turnovers and solid special teams play. That's how they beat Iowa State in last years opener.

I'm optimistic for CFB, but have fears the Wutan Flu is gonna result in limited seating capacity should outbreaks occur. We live in a whole different world these days that's often dictated by leaders trying to be PC. Most CFB teams have 99-100% vaccinations amongst the players and coaches. I don't see any games being cancelled. My opinion: LET THEM PLAY with !!!!

Vegas has my Cowboys at 8 wins which is probably about right. If Spencer Sanders has finally matured at QB and his on-field decision making starts to match his talent, we could surprise some people. Who knows, maybe we can give Texas or OU a loss on their way out the Big 12 door!

LSU had to relocate to Houston by bus one week before their opener with UCLA. That causes a bit of concern.

Why? They donít have facilities, campus, etc they can show off. All youíre showcasing is a program in scramble mode.

That makes sense but the more you touch them, the better. again, not sure if it is even allowed and can the kids come on some sort of unofficial visit so they dont lose the officials to BR.
