Get a burger at Tookies, Breakfast at Skippers, Dinner TBone Toms to start (League City, Kemah, Seabrook area). You can fish the texas city Dike if you have some waders with you.

u can head south from tx city and check out the island after work....wet a line there as well....

There's a good burger joint called Stomps on 146 just outside of TX City.

If they are still around, check out Gilhooley's in San Leon. Get the grilled oysters. Best I've ever had. Not necessarily a high class joint, but those oysters used to be legit a few years ago.

Stop by Topwater Grill in San Leon for some great food.

New restaurant opend in San Leon called pier 6. Will be going there soon. Galveston bay brewery is great

Pier 6 is good, get there early, it gets crowded.

Yes the lil San Lorenzo taqueria is good eats and the Margaritas are super refreshing
