I missed one of the more impressive pictures of the Wide 10 that travels the main bluff on this farm. This was a deer that was on the "hit list" as a Wide 9-point last season and Travis had a few close encounters with him, but ultimately he made it through the season unharmed. We really did not expect him to make the kind of jump he did to this season...hopefully someone will get this guy in bow range at some point during the week!

Heck stolle usually has blood trails crossing up the farm by day 2. I think he blacks out and goes Winchester, wakes up and sees he’s out of arrows, then just starts trailing them down and loading them up.

Just got a game plan together as the wind is blowing 20-30. Headed out at 3, will be hunkered down in the new box blinds and some protected areas. We shall see what happens.
