Uses for a treadmill incline actuator?

So I scored a cheap, nearly new treadmill and I of course tore it down for parts.

The steel I'm using to make a sturdy work table, the motor will drive a 2x72" belt grinder I'm building.

I have yet to come up with uses for the lift incline actuator.

    Any thoughts?

I know this wasn't your question, but you can use treadmill motors to build windmills for power generating....blades can be cut from large diameter PVC pipe.

But a belt grinder is useful too.

What did you decide to do with the lift incline actuator? By the way, I was recently advised to purchase an electro hydraulic actuator for linear control valve automation. I've been thinking about this idea for a long time because it can really make my job much easier, but I can't decide for sure whether to switch to the Electro-Hydraulic Actuator. I have already read a lot of information about this on the Internet and now I would like to know the opinion of real people. What do you guys think of this idea?

Could always rig it up to a small implement on a riding mower. “Poor mans” 3pt

A power vise for the workbench would be pretty sweet. You could probably keep it from crushing stuff by playing with different sized marine circuit breakers. Amp draw should increase with resistance encountered, find one that trips at ~ 100 lbs of pressure, or just use a momentary switch and be careful.
