Pop up blind floormat material?

I was going to build a platform to put a pop up blind on and was wondering what material I should use for a floormat. Something that's smooth, wouldn't make noise, and absorb some noise if I dropped something on it. Suggestions?

Maybe rubber mats like they use in weight rooms

I haven't used them but you might try the rubber mats that come in 12 to 18" squares and have the dove tail joints that fit together. I'd think those would be very quite especially if you dropped something.

Get rubber mats at Harbor freight. They lock together and can b cut to fit. Have them on the base for my popup blind. Works great and very little noise. Not expensive.

I would try to get a one piece rubber mat. That way you wont have water getting in the cracks of multiple pieces.

I built my platform and then added some wood laminate this year and it works great!

I just use carpet
