    Bradford Pear for smoking

    has anyone used Bradford Pear to smoke brisket or ribs?
    how does it compare to:

    Pecan:

    Oak:

    Hickory:

    and which of the four do you prefer?

          Ornamental fruit trees are safe for smoking. BP is mild, similar to apple... Which i'm not a fan of. I scoff at people who say "mesquite is too smokey" (doesn't bother me in the least bit) but the fruit tree smoke makes me nauseous. Smells like that hookah crap to me.

          EDIT: Ha! Did a google to ensure I'm not spewing nonsense as usual. Returned a TBH thread.

                              Pecan/Oak combo for 2nd tier proteins
                              Oak for beef.

                              Can’t stand mesquite .
