Good choice. If you don’t mind me asking, did you inherit it high fenced? How big?

Default High fence ranch entrance ideas...

I agree with not having something too fancy for the front gate.

We went with something understated and informal....

See, the drawback with gates like this is that if you're not very closely paying attention, it's really easy to just drive right past it and not realize it's not just a continuation of the fence. Gotta think of your guests too.

Our guests use the main gate.

This one is just the servants' entrance on the side....

Dude, this man is as full of poop as a Christmas turkey so don't believe any thing he says. He was almost a lawyer but got out because he found out about the spine removal clause.

He's really a great guy but stretches it a bit.

These are my friends, my people

That guy you are talking to is one too.....

Speaking of......you know the difference in a lawyer and a leech?

They are both spineless bloodsuckers, but if you die the leech will actually drop off and find another host.

OKAY, OKAY.........wasn't there a thread a few years ago that had tons of pics of ranch gates???? I found this thread but this is not the one I seem to vaguely remember. Any help finding that thread would be highly appreciated. My search skills are absolutely horrible on TBH......lol!!! Oh, good thoughts and ideas on this thread but the wife and I need pics of ideas.

Anybody have pics of gates with the deer/quail/cactus on them? Pretty elaborate but classic.

I just noticed my horrible spelling after rereading my message above. Omg.
I went with an American Patriot opener using a solar powered system a few months back on my entrance.
