For those of you that have campers, is there a wash/wax that you’ve used with good results? I bought one last fall and want to keep this looking good. Thanks.

I'd advise not to wax the exterior if it is a smooth sided model.
According to the sales guy at Genuine RV (where we bought ours) the skin is not really as smooth as it looks- rather porous. The pores hold the wax in and then when the wax gets baked by the sun it turns dull and cloudy looking.
I've only waxed my front cap and out of the whole trailer the front cap is what looks aged, more so than the rest of the trailer that has remained unwaxed. 2012 model.
I just use an automotive wash with wax in it.
Start by washing the roof first, then wash the exterior.

Not sure how it does it, but this stuff is like magic on black streaks, removes it with ease.

Something to this effect-
Went on real smooth and made it look nice and new again.

Windex outdoors works great if you use it a few times a year or for a quick clean. Otherwise simple green a pressure washer and meguires wax. I usually do the whole simple green and wax 2x a year. Once early in spring around now when it comes back from the lease and then in fall before I take it back.Last edited by johnsonzl; 02-18-2019, 03:33 PM.
