A teacher at a traumatology course has a saying that goes “more lugs, more hugs”. Just my 2 cents

    After a 20 year LEO career, I agree 100%....

I wasn’t necessarily speaking of fuel, if that motor has been babied it won’t take much hammering on it to start having major problems! Boys will be boys lol..

                For an everyday driver?
                Ford 3/4 ton?
                4x4?
                460?
                Gas Hog for sure!

Gas mileage is not what he was asking about. If you had read his post you would have known that...

I know truck prices are crazy right now but I would walk away from that for $15-16k. That truck is almost 25 years old. No matter how well it was taken care of there are bound to be things go out on it that will need to be fixed.

I am a big fan of the big gas engines in 3/4 ton trucks and 1 tons. I have owned several and I still own one. I have put a lot of miles on several of them and they have been dependable

Look on the bright side, if something needs fixed it’s cheap to work on. That 460 could drank some gas though, worse than the 454.
