Looking at getting a 22-250 for predator hunting. What is y'alls recommendations. Looking in the $500-700 range. Already have scope so that is just for gun.

Get the .220 swift that is in the classifieds so I quit looking at it.

Or spend a little less and get a Ruger American.

I have a Savage Predator. It is a fine coyote rifle, as in, I've never missed with it. I usually use an AR in E Texas though, for the quick second shoot for the one that's with him. Used it on p dogs too, out to about 300 yd, you ain't ever off of hair.

I'm a big remington fan. Have 2 other older Remington's that shoot lights out.

Is the quality still just as good. Heard that they are not what they used to be.

The Remington Varmint is a tack driver I have them in 308 and 22250 both sub moa.

Find a used VS / vSF / VSSF 700 in a swift or 22-250 & be done...great rounds but prefer the swift myself
