Thanks!! Something for kids and adults to remember when running Barrels is to look up and see where you are going. So many times kids look down at the barrel when they are half way getting around it..once you see you cleared it look up and focus on your line and next pocket. Your eyes drive the horse and many times you end driving over the barrel . Look forward at your lanes and pocket and drive to it. This pic is a great example of doing it right

Riley is really something special on that horse. She just gets better and better. Congrats to her Brandon..

Sarah ended up 3rd overall for the series in Blanco. Proud of how she did, even though she isn't pushing her horse like she used to. But I am grateful she is back at it and enjoying it. I will continue to haul her anytime and anywhere she wants to go.

Thanks Will. Riley and Gator are starting to click and get more Consistent. Really looking forward to see what they get done.

Big hugs and Congrats to Sarah. 3rd place is being consistent. She will get to asking more with confidence.

Well looks like we are going to a roping tonight at Ryle Smith’s covered pen. Hunter is going to tie down rope and breakaway rope 3 head each. Should be a fun evening

Well Hunter had a blast last night at the roping. He actually roped and tied down his first calf in an official roping last night. The ropers new it was his first catch and tie and they were all cheering for him. It was pretty cool. It takes a lot for an 80lb boy to get a 250 lb calf on the ground and tied. Not the best time in the world but he did catch. There were some serious ropers there last night and even 4-5 NFR qualifiers and winners there and 2-3 The American winners there as well. It was fun to watch how they interacted with the kids. They even helped with pulling the barrier and running the chute. It was a fun time for sure and Hunter wants to go back.

Well Hunter has a great evening of roping at Ryle Smith’s weekly roping. He was sitting 2nd in the average in the open breakaway with one calf to go and threw the loop right over it’s head. He had a blast and caught 2 out of 3 in the number 15 tie down.

This smile says it all!!! Why we do this crazy thing called rodeo. For those that have done it understand . Those who haven’t think we’re a bunch crazy Gypsies chasing the wind. It may be a crazy life hauling a rodeo kid but wouldn’t change it.

She did. Ended up 4th in the Tejas series. Funny thing is all the kids wanted the 4th place prize. It was a really nice back pack. She is done for the winter so we will practice and ride until the spring series begin.

Oh and she was thrown off her horse for the 1st time and 2nd time all in one day. Once before we got started, he slipped in mud on an incline an laid over on her leg and the 2nd time she was coming around the end pole and when he set he bounced to hard and she lost her outside stirrup causing her to land on her butt in the dirt. She got right back up and on her horse and finished the pattern.
