Did you guys headspace the 338 lapua barrel before fluting it? That fluting just lines up perfectly...

Yes, much prefer to flute as a last step in the barreling process for that very reason.

Yes, they are the same color. It was a mix intended to match the Darker OD color that was already present in the stock.

I finished my build sheet and dropped off the donor and deposit last week. I hope to have it back by late August. Gonna be a long summer.....it's just a boring old 270 win, but I'm excited. Hardest part was deciding on the cerokote and flute patterns.
