He didn't get $1 billion, only $1 million.

The "wittness" needs to take his place.

The witness was only 13 at the time and was supposedly coerced by the police.
I blame the crooked cops, the crooked prosecutor, and any other adults involved with this.
The witness does bear some responsibility for taking 37 years to come clean, but a 13 year old kid should've never been put in that position to begin with.

Anyone who would take $25k a year to spend time in prison needs their head checked...that is not a fair amount to lose about 1/2 your life.
