What mountain has this cat been sighted on?

The problem with running dogs in Texas is you usually run off your property, so would need to have a large place and potentially neighbors approval ahead of time as no telling where things head.

I’m guessing the high fence won’t keep them in, but not sure.

Suggest that it isn't stated anymore.

I know a guy in Strawn that could get him for you... but he wouldn’t be alive.

                    Green Kool Aid.

Soak a gutted animal (pig or one cougar killed) in antifreeze. Poke holes in it with a screwdriver to get inside. Put out where cat is. Keep dogs far away.

Watch for crows and/or vultures circling.

Dogs are the way to go. They may push him over the high fence but dogs are not going to make it over unless they can find a scuttle hole under so little chance of them getting on neighbors. I have dogs but am a few hours from Thurber. How large is the ranch?

I wouldn't put out that crap and poison everything that eats it. No way to control what gets into the glycol.

He found a local trapper that is recommended by the ranch he is getting his deer from.
I will post updates. Good thing is checked camera cards last night and all are accounted for, tagged deer that is.

And a painful death as ethylene glycol causes crystals in the kidneys. I never said it was pretty- but it eliminates the mountain lion problem.

And anything else that eats the carcass.

Keep us updated on the trapping, good luck !
