Wood turning in San Antonio

Any of the green screen around San Antonio area that can turn a cocobolo blank into a police baton round no fancy finger groves just plain round, it’s for my retirement shadow box. My old one looks like it should after 30 years.

Oh man that brings back memories! I havent seen one of those in years but remember them well. My lathe is probably to short to turn something that long or I would do it for you.

Congrats on the retirement! I did 33 and gave it up almost 2 years ago, life is good!

I retired in 2017 but with all the stuff going on after retiring I’m just now getting around to it, and it’ll be around 29-30 inches. Thanks for the thought tho, good luck enjoy your well deserved time off.
