There is a pretty good BBQ place across the street from chicken Express, I forgot the name of it but everything I've had there has been great and very fair prices.

Last Friday we at at the Real New Orleans Style Restaurant just past HEB. Had the best fried chicken, red beans ans rice and chocolate cake I have ever had in a restaurant. Our usual is the Blue Bonnet Cafe but we wanted a change.

We ate at Bill’s last Saturday evening and it was not their best showing. I like the atmosphere but 3 of 5 meals in our group were completely wrong. Overheard several other tables saying the same thing. Bear King Brewery behind the Bluebonnet Cafe is good. I really like Chuspy’s for Mexican food. We eat at the Hoover Valley Cafe in Burnet off PR 4 and always have good food. We enjoyed the Christmas Lights on the Lake in Mable Falls. Longhorn Cavern State Park is fun this time of year as well.

We usually hit the River City Grille. There is nothing wow about it, but its good
