A flat top, griddle, or cast skillet, are the only way to fly for burgers! Grilling a burger is a waste of time imo.

Whoa there Dale, lets not get too crazy here. A burger hot seared over a hot bed of mesquite coals is LEGIT!

Although I am becoming more of a fan of the cast iron seated meat........as long as it’s done on the grill. I still like the wood flavor, but like the crust better from the cast iron so it’s the best of both worlds. [emoji1303]

          I have to respectively disagree.

A burger on hot coals with some good smoke cant be beat.

I have to agree bud. Nothing like that crust and then a properly buttered/toasted bun to go with!

                Sierracharlie out....

I’m a burger freak and they are all great. For an old school burger, give me the flat top. For a “specialty” burger, smoked and/or grilled. Love em all.

It looks very pretty! By the way, I have never made a burger with bacon, only I have always made cutlets myself, and now I really wanted to make the same beautiful burger! You have a talent for beautiful photography)

I agree with others too on the Blackstone, I like the crust on burger patties from the griddle.
Steaks do well on it as well. Is just more controllable to me.
