Coyote problems?

What is the best way to get rid of them? They have gotten really thick on my property in the last year. Really want to thin them down before fawns hit. Tracks everywhere you look. Tons of game cam pics. Set up with a good wind and caller and no visitors.

I know where one active den is and I get the most pics around 10:00am a few hundred yards away.

Find a local trapper for sure! As a long time predator hunter I can tell you with absolute certainty that you will not thin them out by calling alone. You may kill a few, but you will educate more than you kill. Trap and shoot on sight! Good luck with thinning them out!

If you’re interested, there’s a guy that runs them with dogs. He’s gone to a buddies place in Rockdale and killed a couple and ran them out of his place too.

Before you consider trapping, are you able to make it to your property to check your traps often?

I feel you. We killed ten this year on our 400 acre place. A few with calls, but mostly just while deer hunting or hunting gut piles.
