        To answer your question; within average bow range.

        I try to get the deer as close as I possibly can.

        Thirty yards max; but I prefer inside twenty because I like the up close and personal shots and portraits.

        I can get almost any buck within 10 yards of my lens.

        I also use a Trigger Stick for support and fast elevation adjustment.

          Looks like I might break the 150 Mark on this 8pt if he keeps growing.

          Got a couple that look promising but only time will
          Tell.

                  Had to pass on him last year to allow him to age. Hoping this year he gained some mass and walks infront of me .

                    Mature bucks are not coming within camera range yet but I am still hopeful. Lots of young up and comers are looking good though.
