Currently I am shooting a 2016 Elite Synergy, 50#@28.5". I had to drop weight last year after bicep surgery. I am refinishing this bow with Kuiu Verde limbs and green riser, but this is it all black last year after I first bought it. The pics are with OEM string set and then after I changed the string set out.

Kinda cool to see this bumped back up. Times have changed for me since this thread started. I'm shooting a Black Widow PCH now. Don't even own a compound anymore!!

I have a halon 6. I rate it a 10. It's smoother than any bow I have ever drawn.

I buy a new bow just about every year. I narrow down what I'm interested in and shoot them all before I buy. So far my favorite bows I've owned have to be 1. Mathews HTR no cam 2. PSE Evo 3. PSE X force SS 4. PSE Carbon air. Those have been my favorite so far. I pick up a Mathews Halon 32 next week and from what I've felt so far shooting it this will be the new #1. The bow I've killed the most animals with was my first hunting bow as a kid Browning whitetail 2. It killed three deer every year and usually a black bear. It also killed a few turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, ruffed grouse and tons of carp. I had that bow from age 8-14.

If you like the no cam check out the Halon 32. Very similar draw, just as smooth after shot, and just as quiet. Oh and it's faster.

Diamond Deploy. Love it. I was surprised after spending twice as much on other bows over the years. Tried it on a recommendation and have been very pleased. I'm at 72#s at 29". Great little bow.

Started with a Diamond Infinite Edge, then a Diamond Provider, Hoyt Carbon Spyder, Hoyt Nitrum Turbo, Bear Kodiak Magnum recurve, Bear Marshal, and now a Hoyt Pro Comp Elite I just picked up tonight. Hoyt has by far been the most well built, high quality, and best shooting bows I’ve had.

I have not owned very many bows. I shot a Mathews feather light I bought in 1998 until this year. I bought a new 2015 Hoyt carbon spyder last summer and only having the mathews to compare it to, I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade. Smoother, quieter, and much faster than the Mathews.

Bowtech Admiral FLX. In my opinion, it’s the finest bow made (including current bow models). I’ll shoot it ‘till it stops and hope someone makes its equal by then.

I have a '16 pse carbon air. It is an awesome shooting bow. It has a pretty good thump at release compared to my hoyt vector turbo. I love my vector turbo. These two bows are completely different. My vector is dead in my hand. I can hold the carbon air on target better than my vector which is usually not the case for a carbon bow. These are probably my 2 favorite bows I have owned.
