They donít bother me but dang when Iím Weedeating they sure can put you on edge when they come slithering between your legs!

gotta love weed eating, got snake bit, and never new it until a couple of weeks later the dr. asked how i felt after the bit? I said what bite. i pointed out the two puncture holes under my knee .. guess he did not have time pump any venom in.. lucky me...

Sure looks like it has a coachwhip attitude. Good snake and will put the hurt on some rats and mice and other small snakes like copperheaded rattlemoskins.

I have lightened up on killing every one I see like I used to but if it surprised me AND I had a weedeater going it would probably get weedeated

Weed eater is my rattlesnake weapon of choice around the house.
Has this guy been identified as to exactly what kind he is?
Iíd guess not a Bull, nor coach, but a rat of some kind.

And I havenít seen Snakelover post in while.

I'll take that over this one I literally stepped over yesterday. Biggest timber rattler I've ever seen.

Hey, Clark! I'm doing well. I just haven't been on TBH as much as I used to be. That looks like a Texas Rat Snake (Western Rat Snake), although up close it doesn't show much pattern.
