This one survived. I just don't know for how long... Saw him at the end of the season a couple of times/weekends and he was getting along well enough I wasn't going to mercy kill him. No idea who shot him as this blind and feeder was about 120 yards from a fenceline. We didn't see any deer the next year in the area that favored him so who knows.

Nice buck!Originally posted by Froggy View PostI would have never have thought this buck could survive. FireNGuns aka Brandon sent me both these pics from our lease a couple of weeks ago. We don't know who shot this buck.
They're tough.
Nice 10 pt. Randy. Congratulations.

Manbun would have put him down.
Kidding but that’s pretty crazy. Goes to show there just aren’t any 100% rules in hunting.Last edited by meltingfeather; 11-25-2020, 10:31 PM.

He immediately dropped, then got up and ran off ! He ran behind brush, and I could not see where he went. No blood . This ranch has some of the thickest, thorniest brush you can ever imagine so I figured we would see buzzards in a few days.
Two weeks later, he shows back up, and a friend snapped this picture. I wish he would have shot him! He appears to be doing fine, but I am sure the would will get infected. That is the exit hole!
