Brutal hunt. WINDY. Didn't see anything, got down a bit ago and scored Keith's buck. This deer really surprised me, just had so much to score. 166 7/8. Now this is very unofficial, but should be within a few inches.

I'm back in, wind is still howling SSW. In a set that I've never hunted, but it's where the big boy has been on camera. We went and hung a new set at lunch to hunt this same block of timber about 1/4 mile east of where I am now. Got a hunter sitting it now, and it looks GOOD! I'm in the corner of a cut bean field about 1/4 mile from where I was last night with all of the action. To my east is a fork of a big creek with a crossing tht should put the deer in my lap. Let's see how it goes.

Just had a really nice 8 come out bumping a doe, they stopped and started looking across the field and this guy was coming across with a doe. Holy mackerel.
