Aside from the Chap, what other WMAs consistently offer standbys? Got some PTO to burn, and since I'm tagged out in my county I'm thinking about trying giving some of these a try. Thanks

Stand by opportunities

The public draw hunt page has it on each hunt if they plan to accept standbys. It is still a game time decision to if and how many. Call the area a day or two before and talk to them. Number for each area is on the hunt brochure on each hunt.

I think a few have not been doing standby because of COVID. Stupid.
If you go have a way to pay the fee on the spot. Not every area will be able to take a card so have a check as last resort. Had that happen once and had to drive to town to use atm.

Wish they had more spots available. Up to 100 people show up for the 2-3 spots they’ll take.

Guess it’s still better odds than online.

It’s close, so I’ll keep trying.

I think there were 67 that showed up for GDE in January (1st hunt) at Powderhorn and they ended up drawing more than they said they would originally. I can't remember how many though.
