Kind of looks like a Tilapia/crappie hybrid.

If tilapia and crappie could mix , it would look like that you fishing the creeks or near a water treatment plant?

It came out of an old pond near my property that is about to go dry. Thanks for the ID. I thought it was a Talapia put wondered why it didn't have any stripes.

It's a tilapia. If you put him in different water, and he wasn't stressed, he'd have bars.
