Need to do some clearing, what works best on freshly cut mesquite stumps?

For fresh cut stumps, 25/75 remedy/diesel. Doesnt take a lot, just wet the cut face.

We cut out a bunch of nandina and my buddy who runs a wholesale ag supply house said 50-50 diesel and Remedy. Been 2 months now and not a stitch of green has reappeared.

1 to 3 remedy to diesel is fine, and do it within 1-2 hrs of cutting.

We spray immediately upon cutting. “Kilt” about 50 yesterday.
