Good lawd! That's a lot of options. Narrow that baby down to "if you had 3 last meals"!

Thanks for the recommendations. Keep them coming if you have some.

Deanie's has a location right off bourbon - great mixed seafood, pretty reasonably priced. Crab au gratin is awesome - definately not fancy, but good eats.

Galatoire's (if you can get in) is a New Orlean's must.

Lots of stuff uptown if you want to take the trolley or cab. Commander's Palace, **** & Jennie's, etc. PM me if you are heading that way, used to live there.

Ohh, Jaque Imo's is the other MUST in uptown - it's on the trolley line off Carrolton & Oak & believe.

I gain ten pounds every time I go.

                    1. Mothers
                    2. Johnny's Po-Boys
                    3. Mothers

Cochon is my favorite spot if you want to spend a little more. Basically good solid cajun coooking fancied up. The fried boudin is crazy good.

Court of Two Sisters if your wife is going. It is in the .25 & has a patio lit up throughout trees. Can't go wrong.

Acme for Oysters and Cafe Dumond for breakfast...bignets & chocolate milk!

I'm kind of partial to the Gumbo Shop right off Bourbon St. My wifes favorite place in the world is Schmitties on West Esplanade and Williams. The Galley is AWESOME although I'm not 100% sure how to get there.

Brennan's, Arnaud's, Commanders Palace, and Galatoires are some of the more famous ones. I can speak for the first two and they are awesome, have not been to the last two yet but will hopefully soon.

Not sure what you were looking for but these are all super nice fancy type places. If thats not what you are looking for then there are so many good places to eat there. One good place is the Gumbo Shoppe.
