I miss seeing that place. It was one of very few places to eat that looked unique.

The wife and I have eaten at a few places that were pretty nice but so far Christopher's World Grille in Bryan is at the top of our list.

I’ve been there and agree, it’s amazing.

x2... Took the wife here on our anniversary a few years ago, and that was one of the best steaks I've ever had, everything was awesome.

For east Texas, Kiepersol is where we go for a fancy dinner.

The Red Pheasant Inn, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Close second was the Hyannis Yacht Club , Cape Cod. Best Prime Rib and lobster I have ever had. The Kennedys were members there, so you know it was High falootin'. Especially to this country boy.

Otoko in Austin, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London, Kai at the Wildhorse in AZ (this was cool as it is Micheline rated with Native American themed food)

The French Room in the Adolphus Hotel downtown Dallas is not shabby!

Bonnells in Fort Worth is the nicest place I have eaten at by far and I wouldn't consider it "nice" at all. I Can't think of much of anything I would rather NOT do than go to a fancy event or restaurant. If it is nice enough that there is a chance that someone is going to walk in dressed up for their dinner I don't belong there at all.

As others have said, if in Houston, Tony's is the nicest I have ever been to.
