    Houston Area Tamales

I am looking for someone in the Houston area to make some tamales from deer and pork that I provide. I used a lady a few times and the quality has gone down hill so I am looking for a change of pace. Please let me know if anyone has any leads!

      I use Jackson’s in Crosby
They have been very consistently good over many years for me.

            Granny's is the correct answer

Granny's is awesome, but will they use your meat?

Another vote for granny's. There cream cheese jalapeno tamales are the best

Yes I've been taking them there for years. They have done deer, hog, and deer/hog mixed for me.

Granny's is very good but the last couple of times I found they were very sparingly on the meat and they were very dry. Maybe just me though.

Granny's. I've dropped off quarters, deer or hog, and got tamales back.

Been getting venison tamales made there for maybe 15 years

I think they also have a another place in Spring. The lady and husband are super cool, get her talking about her daughters and you’ll be cracking up. I took half a deer this year and I’m almost out, I got 31 doz from 2 hind quarters. I’m going after axis in July just to fill the freezer back up again with their tamales, all I’ve done is hot and mild.
