My daughter was born with several birth defects. We were told she would have severe mental disabilities. She has had several heart procedures and has duplex kidneys and microcephaly....We now know she has Cornelia de Langue syndrome....her genetic mutation indicates that 98% of kids with her genetic defect will never walk talk or go to the restroom by themselves. BUT God had Bigger ideas!
She Has WON several National Archery in the Schools Programs Tournaments this season, We cannot be happier with her achievements! She is now 16 and competing at high school level.
Her most recent score last weekend at Mabank was 294 out of 300, winning the tournament! We will be competing at the State Tournament next month. Last year she finished 2nd at the State and won a $3500 scholarship.
She is still struggling with her eyesight and we must keep tabs on her heart, and pray we do NOT have to have a valve transplant.
