Wolf spiders that I know have stripes. I'm afraid this is a recluse

Not sure what it is, but 100% not a recluse. Looks like a common house spider or wolf.

Look up South American toothed hacklemesh weaver. It's a South American spider introduced to the US. Not entirely sure, but it looks similar from what I remember.

This is what the wolf spiders I have at my house look like. I let them and the banana spiders live.

No Fiddle no Brown Recluse. Recluse legs aren’t fuzzy.

Last time I saw one that big was while watching Svengoolie. But, it was in black/white. Hard to tell in color.

Good luck withr the ID MrFreestyle. Awesome detail in the photo.
For sizing…Next time try framing down as opposed to zooming in.

Baby tarantula is my WAG.
Personally I like a kitchen/utility/walkway spider or two. They help with the ants and other critters.

I let a trap funnel spider run havoc on the front porch inside corners and decimate a large red hornet nest. Body by body. It was Awesome!

I zoomed in to get detail. I don't want my wife, son or grandson to get bit by a brown recluse! It's barely the size of the penny

^^ I agree with DeerGuy

https://usaspiders.com/metaltella-si...lemesh-weaver/

https://bugguide.net/node/view/718688

"A bite from Metaltella simoni is not considered dangerous for humans or larger pets. The spiders is not considered as aggressive and very few bites have been recorded. Potential symptoms are usually limited to local pain and minor swelling, comparable to a bee sting."

It's not a charred spot on the floor, so it's a "NOT DEAD ENOUGH SPIDER".

My God man, could you not make the picture any bigger.....friggin hate spiders
