    Roto hoe shredder

I picked up this 'yard art' at an estate sale for $20 and found motor at harbor freight that fits it. Planning on it being a cool project if we get it all hooked back up.

I am not really sure what I am looking at. I have seen two of those recently. I assumed they were wood chippers. It looks like it has a wood chipper chute or hopper. But then the name makes me think it's probably closer to a tiller. So what exactly is it?

It is a wood chipper / shredder. From what I've been able to find out it was made in the 70s.

How far are you from Houston? Plenty of hoes to shred here.

              Roto Hoe

In the 90s Trisha Yearwood was singing about a poor kid who didn’t own one of these.

The name Roto-Hoe was worth the $20 I paid for it

We got the motor mounted and running. Need to get a new pulley and belt and then we will be in business!

Found the pulley and belt at tractor supply and put this thing to work.
