Definitely a torque converter. Clear whatever codes are in there. Converters dont throw codes and 99 percent of the time the sales department won't even drive the truck

Had this problem with my 07 Tundra, drove it a year with it then traded it in on a new Tundra last year. The issue never came up on trade in.
