    How much actual meat would you get out of one of these meat rabbits and what age would they be ready for the shopping block ??

      Around 3 lbs on a 5 lb rabbit. 10-12 weeks is my guess

              So if I recall correctly from my rabbit raising days, you are going to want to keep them separated. The females will fight and kill each other. Always bring the female to the male for breeding. If you move the male to her, she will attack him. The females are much more territorial.

                  Yep. Each of my does will have a larger cage with nesting box when the time is right. The buck will have his own cage as well. Those white rabbits will be in my belly.

                    Them next-n boxes remind me of those used for chickens to lay eggs. Do your rabbits lay eggs too? If so, you'd probably sell more before Easter next spring.
