          Actually a little better if you can get some bigger ones. Tgey have no blood line in the meat to trim out like the white bass do.

              I had to work in Central Illinois for a short travel job and yellow bass were thick in the lake near my temp. housing. Little guys, tasted great. Lots of Bone? Seemed like little bones were in spots I was not used to finding bone. Ate em anyway and enjoyed. My whites close to Georgetown areas are finally doing fair. Going today if I stand the wet cold.

                              I'm sad to say I have never had fried crappie, have never even caught a crappie. Growing up, I didn't have a father that fished. The meat looks amazing!
