Default I'm starting to sweat the Senate race....

Cruz is only up 1% in the latest pole, and that's well within the margin of error. O'Rourk is as far left as Hillary and horrible on gun rights.

Don't believe the Polls. Cruz is just now getting cranked up. Beto's past is starting to get exposed as well as his socialist stance on borders, immigration, guns, etc.... Once he and Cruz debate his moment in the spotlight will be over.

I heard Robert ORourke is trying to avoid a debate, but we will get our debate. Ted is an expert at debate and Robert ORourke cannot go toe to toe with him.

It’s not over until it’s over. That guy winning would be very detrimental. Ensure that you and yours are squared away as far as voter registration is concerned. Don’t underestimate your opponent. They have been flooding this state with far left liberals by the boatload as of recent. People that will not care in the least about his past.

If O'Rourke the Irish Soros libtard implant gets elected, we conservatives will get just what we deserve unfortunately. We seem to act like it can't happen... Well that's what we said about O bummer, and that's what was said about Trump... this High-spanik impostor is well funded, well organized and hip to the millineals...

If we don't get active, get out and campaign, and get EVERYONE out to vote, we well could be looking at a demoKrautic senate representative from Tejas come January...

In driving around the metroshtupp, I have yet to see a Cruz sign, but Bet's are all over the place. That being said, I remember another election a couple years ago where a certain left leaning woman was supposed to trounce a certain billionaire, and we all know how that one turned out. I feel pretty confident about the upcoming election. I don't believe that that many loons have moved into our state.

I agree. I've seen one to many folks saying they are going to write in their own candidate, or they simply aren't going to vote. All because they didn't like something Cruz did during his bid for President.

Really! How can you be this dumb and not realize your action will help Beto?

Shame on you if you don't step up and vote for Cruz to ensure Beto is not a Texas US Senator.

Let that sink in if you just can't pull the lever for Cruz. You're the one we can blame for Beto getting in.

Not saying this on my high horse so no one get offended ; its just what I know now to be true.

In the 2 decades that I have been old enough to vote I have voted Republican. In those 2 decades I have learned that there is no difference between a Republican and a Democrat. Not one Republican we have sent up to office has done what they said they would. They all vote right along with the Dems. They are just two sides of the SAME coin. Republican and Dem Senators are right now eating lunch at a restaurant in DC you wouldnt even be allowed in, toasting their millions of dollars they have stolen from you and laughing it up. Fox News is the same exact channel as CNN. Believe me when I say your lives will be no different if Cruz stays or Beto takes over. They are all headed in the same direction. I will never vote for any established party ever again. They are the enemy of the people. Dont support them please.

Wise words. Even if one side has an overall numerical advantage when it comes to registered voters, the side with the most motivated supporters can give any candidate a fighting chance. Beto has a lot of money and some powerful forces behind him including Hollywood and the media. He's going on the "Ellen" show and I actually read an article in a national publication wondering if he is "the next Obama" We better not just scoff at Beto and sleep on this. I hope seeing all the Beto signs and the media fawning over him will scare Republicans off their butts and into the voting booth.

While I agree with most of this, Cruz has come the closest to doing what he said he would and espousing my values. Trust me on this, the difference between Cruz and O'Rourke is huge.

There was a guy who called into the Michael Berry show about all the Beto signage. MB had a good perspective: there is more people without a sign in their yard/on their car - and that's your Cruz supporter. I would say the vast majority of conservatives are much more reserved and would probably never have a sign in their yard.

I honestly like that the media and polls are showing that Beto has the potential to win. That gets more conservatives, who might otherwise not go because they are confident a conservative will win, to actually go vote.

Yep, we had a great exchange a couple days ago and she finally threw up her hands and sent a link in case I wanted any more information - it was fun to say the least. I think this one could go either way only because you have one guy on the far left and the other on the far right. Neither fade much toward the middle at all from what I've been able to tell.

By November the conservatives will wake up and it won't be very close. Dems just are better are stomping round, yelling, protesting, boycotting, etc. all year, but come election time it won't be that close.

yep, but hopefuly they are trying to escape that f/u mess out west and get their heads right.

it didn't work out there and it won't work here.
We can hope for that, but a lot of them have been transplanted because their companies have been fleeing California's anti-business policies. I think it's wishful thinking to expect all, or even most, of them to seek the polar opposite political climate they are used to. A great many of them I have talked to did not want to move here in the first place.

I sure hope Butto loses. He wants to tax the he** out of small business and shutdown parts of the oilfield.

The basket of deplorables needs to register and then go vote or Cruz will be in trouble and possibly lose... As far as the text from my namesake "Beto", as fun as it is replying with what we really think, we should just say we are voting for him for sure. It will get them overly confidant!!

I totally agree with JSweet that all politicians are there for themselves and that the republicans are lacking big in instituting a conservative agenda. However, if we turn away now the end of this country as we know it will be here much sooner if the dems control the senate.

Hopefully the Supreme Court pick by Trump gets approved before the midterm elections as I don't have much confidence that the senate will be a red majority afterwards.

While considering the source, I’m currently in Austin and the amount of Beto signs is ridiculous. Get out and Vote
