Most the time no clock for me. Just happens. Even if I have to get up earlier than usual. But on those days, I set a clock but generally wake up before it goes off.

I’m 35 but 15 years of getting up at 5 am has me hard wired. I can’t sleep past 6, regardless of the circumstances.

I hate it. Wide awake somewhere between 4:30-6:00 every single morning. Actually, I don't hate it because I feel like I should be up before the sun; but I do wish I could sleep in sometimes.

I wake up every morning between 4:00 and 5:00, go take a leak and back in bed until 7:30 - 8:00. That is what you do when you are 75.

I wake at 545-6 every am, whether I want to or not.
Started in my mid 30s. Before that I used an alarm.
I think the oil field scared me into waking early. I was always so plowed drunk that I was afraid I'd miss my hitch, lol!

Yep all these young wiper snappers wait until you hit 55 plus. It gets worse as you get older. If I can sleep to 7 am I fell like I slept in. Most mornings up at 5 to 5:30 every morning. It is hard for me to go back to sleep as I get older

I remember those days. The good news is that when you get ancient you get up when you wake up and take a nap anytime you want...and don't pay attention to a clock. Right now my alarm is a 2 year old granddaughter

This

I have been an outside salesman / owner for ever now. Fourty years ago if I walked into the shop at 8am my boss would ask me what I was doing there and tell me to hit the road and make him money.
So I have always needed to answer the phone at 8am. With that said my normal is 4:45 to 5:15. When I sleep in {6:00} I still have 2 hours to get going.
Alarm clock when hunting only...

I'm 30, and I set an alarm every day. It very rarely goes off before I'm up though. 5:15-5:30 depending on what I have going on. Weekends I usually wake up but can pretty easily make myself go back to sleep until 7-7:30.

Havenít needed to set an alarm for probably 20 years or so. Between work and the military Iíve been getting up between 0300 and 0500 nearly every day of my adult life (65). I retired a year and a half ago and nothing has changed. I still wake up around 0500 every day. Difference now is I can roll over and just say screw it.

I'm definitely an outlier on this one. My schedule is super fluid. If someone wants to meet to early I ask them if bowhunting or fishing is involved.....lol. 8 am or later 90% of the time for me.

I will get up before 6 everyday. I'll still set an alarm just to make sure, but usually up and in the shower prior to it going off.

On weekends I usually fall right back asleep though.

I set 2 alarms in the morning, because I'll "accidentally" turn the first one off. I usually stay up past midnight every night. I don't like going to bed before I'm tired, or waking up before I'm done sleeping.

I set my alarm but rarely need it. I wake up on my own every night and morning at 1030pm, 1145pm, 1225am, 0147am, 0250am, 0326am, and so on and so forth......if I sleep more than 1 hr straight at a time, I consider it a successful nights sleep.

68. I get up between 2:30 and 5:00 AM. The coffee is set to brew at 4:50 if I haven't already punched the button. That is my alarm clock. When I am asleep at 5:00 AM, it is because I was already up for an hour or two and decided to take a nap.

It’s easy to get up early when you go to bed early. I am officially a GOF no-fun fuddy duddy. For several decades it’s been in bed by 9:15, read for an hour, what’s left of my brain wakes me up at 5:30, 7 days a week. Only set an alarm if I need to get up earlier, which is rare. What have I become?
