I apologize. Here is ESPN FPI current win % for Ags. It’ll obviously change as season goes on. I am Very excited to get rolling.

Prarie View A&M 99.8%
New Mexico 98.5%
Kent State 97.9%
South Carolina 93.2%
Colorado 88.2%
Mississippi State 83%
Arkansas 81.6%
Missouri 79.5%
Auburn 78.7%
Ole Miss 66.9%
LSU 64.3%
Alabama 34.4%

On a side note, I like Following Vegas odds. Glancing through numbers right now. Texas opened as a -16.5 favorite against Louisiana Lafayette and has already dropped to a -9.5 favorite. Interesting

Those teams arenít going anywhere. They will continue to play football. They just have to stand on their own two feet.

The same can be said for Texas. If they donít commit themselves to winning in a way that they havenít before, they will get pummeled in the SEC.

The socialist comment was a low blow, and not strictly true. But, I think I made my point.

In regards to direct pay and everything else you mentioned up there, I would be fine with that. It would be honest. The system now isnít and hasnít been for a very long time. Most of those things are currently in place already. They are just done under the table.

Thatís an SEC schedule? But I was told it was murderís row week after week.

Texas would be favorable in every game except Bama as well with that schedule.

As far as Louisiana, Iíd put everything I own on -16.5. There why itís dropping: Louisiana was a Top 25 team that was 9-1 (I believe) that returns most of the team with a **** good coach. Texas is playing its first game with a new HFC, staff and two schemes on both sides of the ball. I donít know the outcome but thatís why so many are jumping on Louisiana. Oh and according to everyone one here Texas is a scrub team here. Get your bets in.

Amazing how quick they turned into SEC super fans, isnít it?!?!?

May need to go back and grab some screen shots of all the SEC SEC SEC mocking posts by several of the newly created SEC super fans.

Cutting through the bull****, itís surprising more Aggies arenít with Johnny Football on this.

ďI think Texas A&M is in a great position no matter if Oklahoma or Texas decide to come, and it looks like theyíre going to. So I think itís great competition for the league, and I think it will make our conference better. And lucky for A&M, we have a nine, almost 10 year head start on both of those teams being in the SEC. So, ya know, the rivalryís been gone for a while and now it looks like itís gonna come back, so itís time to just sack up and go play the the game. Ya know, weíre in a good position, we have a good coach, we have a good team. If they want to come to the SEC and see what itís all about, we welcome them with open arms. But it is no cakewalk, and it is not the Big 12, so it should be interesting to see how things play out.Ē

Last season and this are definitely most favorable schedules we’ve had since joining! I saw JFF comments, great class. He probably couldn’t say what he really wanted to say, trying to be a Pro Golfer and all.
TU currently a favorite against everyone but OU and Iowa ST, with TCU being almost a coin flip.

Yep, the Vegas outlook is 8- with new QB and staff.

But, the best bet is under 8.

It has nothing to do with socialism IMO. It's about amateurism vs professionalism. This is the part that is going to ruin cfb.

Also, just like in Nascar; they are leaving the regional, smaller markets that make cfb so great. They tried to turn Nascar into a national event and it basically flopped and alienated the original fans that made it an 'event' to begin with. The new landscape will be sensational briefly and then essentially fade away I'm afraid. I hope I'm wrong

No matter the rules in any arena, someone is going to try and circumvent them. Anarchy and letting the inmates run the asylum seems like a poor solution.

I have no issue with TX/OU joining the SEC and doing what's best for them.
The issue I have is the direction CFB/Athletics is headed(or already done). Call me on old fuddy duddy I guess....

I honestly think this is a hypothetical take that may take another decade or two to "possibly" come to light. Texas and OU opened the doors to an insane amount of click bait when this leaked. Most of which likely has very little to no traction whatsoever. The media rights/Big 12 were to be negotiated and they decided to pull the plug on their membership.

10 years ago we thought there would be several that would try to get to 16. I thought Texas would end up in the B1G or ACC back then. Even with this move, I'm not sure I buy that anyone else is truly in a rush to expand.

Looks like Kansas and Iowa State made a run at the Big 10 and got crickets, Big 10 would rather have USC + another AAU and KU and ISU are not at the top of that list.

I tend to agree with Josh on a lot of things. I think he's mostly spot on here, too.

I think anybody in TAMU's position would have some frustration and initial pushback (Iowa would "push back" against ISU in B1G, SCe would likely "push back" against Clemson in SEC, UF against FSU (or Miami), etc.)...and those are completely different scenarios than the previous TAMU/tu affiliation in SWC/Big XII.

Josh does acknowledge that TAMU has a right to be frustrated and probably should give the "college try" to (procedurally) oppose it (and admits that he probably would, too), but then says he'd like to see more Ags "collectively" accept the inevitable. I don't think he's given the second part of the equation enough time to play out. It's been 5 days (at the time of recording) since the news broke.

Was talking to a Tech buddy about his thoughts on what’s next for them and this is what he sends me-

Breaking news: ESPN Reports Matt Wells and Sonny Cumby in talks with coaches at Midland Lee and Odessa Permian in hopes
Of joining Division 2-6A in anticipation of tEXAS uNIvERSITY and that other school by the red river abandoning big 12. Mikey Serrano returning quarterbacks Midland Lee had this to say: " I'm all for it, I mean Sonny talked to me today and it sounds like I could get a sweet ride and possibly start for a college team as a senior in high school if I could talk my coach into letting them play. Plus the homecoming game after party would be hella sweet"

Texas A&M's Anger Over Texas + Oklahoma Joining SEC (Late Kick Cut) - YouTube

What about our affiliation? We are now SEC brothers. Will you root for UT when we are playing a Wisconsin?
