      Cool snake! I ran into one just like that a few years ago while mowing. It was blue (ish) though. I know blue racers are not common in TX though.

      Really fast snake and was very annoyed that I pushed him out of his tall grass. lol

        I've caught them where they were a bluish color and pure green. Same species of snake but I see more green ones than I do the bluish colored ones.

              They have a really bad attitude and will charge and strike at you. I’m not a fan of those mean sobs !

                  Be careful when you see this type. It is very possibly a venomous snake wearing a disguise to fool predators into thinking they are just a common racer. With technology, their disguises have gotten really good. They'll race at ya and BAM you're bit!
