My obnoxious politically charged niece deleted facebook on advice of a family counselor a couple of years back. She and her counselor came to the conclusion it was unhealthy. She would post some of the most inflammatory and inane crap imaginable causing some concern and friction within the family.

Now she's on Instagram and TikTok posting the same crap. Go figure.

Social media is an addiction we are only just beginning to understand. A very dangerous one which feeds off of your impulses. It will hijack your mind, manipulate your emotions and compromise your ability to reason.

I deleted mine almost a year ago. So much more time for activities! Like green screen and OnX map scouting!

5 years ago. You tube is my only social
            Media now. Besides TBH.

Never had any social media except here, and I read a lot more than I post.

I'll argue with a tree stump so I am still on the book of faces.

I've been off for two weeks. It's much better without it.

I guess it's like a divorce, they are giving you a cooling off period to see if you really mean it. I only deactivated mine. That was close to 3 months ago. I guess I should go ahead actually delete it.

Never have had one. However, I do regret not loading up at their IPO.
