Well I was able to seal the deal on this old wide bruiser in hopkins county! He isn't the biggest one on camera but I couldn't let him walk away yesterday evening. Not bad for my second archery buck, 21.25" inside spread. Earlier this year I shot right under a much bigger deer, then last week while I was moving a popup blind for an evening sit this deer walked in on me. I was standing there at thirty yards with a halfway brushed in blind and a cut cedar tree held in front of me for cover. No bow, or rifle, I filmed him for a little over 5 minutes eating corn from the feeder, until he finally moseyed away. He went maybe 30 yards with a slight quartered away shot it hit lungs then heart and exited through the opposite should. This is the second deer this year that hasn't gone more than 40 yards with these exodus broadheads, I don't think I'll be switching anytime soon! Also want to give thanks to Antlers86 and Sleepy for all of their
off-season help in finding a new bow, tuning the new bow, switching the equipment, and building new arrows. Plus these guys taught me some things after years of deer hunting I never knew! Thanks for tagging along boys!
