    Polaris Ranger project

Well I have been getting ready for deer hunting in Mexico next year. I have added a completely new flat bed getting rid of the factory bed. This incorporates an over head rack which sits on rubber bumpers. I’m going to install an aluminum deer stand which is being built now. I’m excited how it’s coming along. I’m getting ready for powder coating but they are shut down right now.

I should have room in the back. Just as long as I have room for the cooler I should be fine!! [emoji23]

How much weight do you think you’ve added so far? I’ve really considered doing a bed and rack similar, but was concerned about the weight of steel and I’m not handy enough with aluminum. If I do it it’ll be DIY, so I don’t want to mess with aluminum.

I used all thin walled metal and perlin for the bed. It’s definitely heavier than the factory bed but didn’t seem to effect it much.

I may tinker with the idea a little more. Thank you! It looks great!
