Though it would get to the -30s a few times a winter.

Good ole Fort Drum! At least you finally came to your senses and let Shane get you out of there!
BTW, don’t you just love to hear these guys talk about Texas cold weather?

-16 when I live in Colorado. We were working outside, but were only able to go outside and work 15 - 20 minutes at a time, then go back inside for 15 - 20 minutes.

Lived in Remus, Michigan for 2 years. The coldest we saw was -36* with about 30 inches of snow in the ground. Thank GOD there was NO wind.
We were always excited when we got up in the morning and the temp was NOT NEGATIVE

                    -20's in WI multiple times.

Wind chill doesn't count. It's a subjective measure.

-11 in Baker City, OR and 0 in Wyoming. But the coldest I’ve ever felt in my life was near Waynoka, OK. The wind chill was very bad!

-25 testing iron for schmumberger in Worland Wyoming. Had a 1000 gallon tank of water and antifreeze we used because there was no way to use regular water. Probably werent supposed to built a fire out of pallets but I didn’t care, I was hoping the would come back there and run me off.

9 degrees and windy in a tree stand in Kansas. Pretty cold for a Texas boy.

-40 or so on Lake Erie

Once it got down to -10 or so it didnt matter

Somewhere around -55° back in the mid '90's. It was a record low in MN that hasn't been broken yet.
