    Old Bruiser

Saw this guy hanging around the house this afternoon. Almost 4 years living where we do and I’ve never seen him before. Is the single horn genetics or a possible injury and he was one a regular framed deer?

Possible injury. But there is a genetic strain in my neighborhood sorta like that that apparent in at least 2 generations.

Check the second pic. I couldn’t tellif that little point that goes behind his ear was 1” I’d be afraid of shooting him just for that reason!

I chased a big deer for a couple of years and never could seal the deal. The year my neighbor killed him he was still pretty good on one side but had a huge fork on the other. No injury as far as we could tell...

We had another big buck on the same place that did the same thing one year then went back to a normal rack the next year....
