    Any Milam County road builders?

I have a large low water crossing that washed out back in the spring that I am having a hard time finding a concrete guy to pour concrete for the repair.

Let me know if you know anyone in the Rockdale to Hearne area.

If you check with Amigos in Hearne, they usually have business cards out for these types of services.

Also, check with the Ace Hardware in Hearne.

Ron Binion out of Rockdale did a great job on a road for us in Burleson county

                    Awesome!
We have an almost identical low water crossing that he did for us after the previously constructed road washed out twice. Ron is definitely one of the good guys.

Be sure to get some seed on that exposed soil to prevent any erosion.

I’m going to get some of that landscaping mesh and lay it out. I’ll throw seed over that and hope it stays.

Looks great, any close up pics of the finished crossing?

That's awesome! I'll have to call him about putting in my cattle guard for me.

First they broke up the old concrete crossing and used it as a foundation for the new crossing.
They dug out the creek bottom to the hard pan and then put the broken up concrete down in the clay. Then they put a few loads of 3x5 rock over the top of that. They finished it off with the limestone road base. They also used some of the old concrete to build kind of a barrier wall on both sides.

That's hard to see with the shadows. It looks like the creek crossing is gravel?
