Lake Meridith used to have some. I don’t know if they still do.

They stocked some in Canyon a long time ago. Don’t know anyone who ever caught one

Walleye Wednesday was a staple many years ago at uncle bucks. Seems all our happy hours were on Wednesday....go figure. It was all you can eat and the old Tbh crew could eat some fish.

Walleye freezes quite well, we have a bunch in our freezer now , but I wouldn't leave it in there for a long time.
It is a very clean tasting fish but a pain to filet due to the Y bones.

We were trading game meat for walleye filets but our fisherman moved to Nevada, bummer!

We have some great walleye fishing in Wyoming, Eastern side. I believe some of the lakes in NM also have some, Elephant Butte.

All the game fish you buy in stores and restaurants is farmed, or fished commercially. I doubt walleye lends itself well to farming.

Supposed to be some in Wheeler branch. Every time I've been the gate guys pulls up in a golf cart when we're loading up and asks if we caught walleye or not.

                    Heard Broken Bow has em.

Let's get a group together and go fill the freezers!

Culvers only has walleye "in season", at least in Flower Mound. Not sure what constitutes 'in season'. Very good eating.

Most walleye in the restaurants come out of the Great Lakes. Great fish

When I was a kid I caught a 4lb one at the spillway behind the dam at Moss Lake. I still remember us frying it up

We caught some after they stocked them. Used to see them here when bowfishing but haven't seen one in maybe 35 years.
