Where to put the cottonseed basket?

I want to put my cottonseed basket feeder somewhere near my timed protein feeder and in this picture frame. What’s your opinion. Just want to keep an eye on both and have a cell game cam here.

1. Cedar tree far left about 20’ behind feeder

2. Larger cedar tree directly behind feeder about 15’

3. Cedar tree to right of feeder about 10’

4. Attach to front right feeder leg and bring them up close.

I’m going to attach welded hog panel cage with a chain high and low so it can move around so deer can get all of it.

I don’t like any of those choices, but number 1 is the best of them.

I personally would drive a t-post in the ground where the sun is hitting the ground between #1 and the feeder. Then just set the wire feeder over the t-post.

Or on the right side which ever gives you the best shot from your blind. You don’t need to chain the feeder at all. Just one t-post.

Alfalfa from time to time, but not yet here.
