    Hunting Snow Oklahoma

We leased 670 acres in Snow Oklahoma. Can anyone give me some advice on hunting this part of the country. Can we put up winch feeders, tripod feeders, protein. We can use all the help we can get to get this property ready for this coming season.

You can put up anything you want but better bear proof it.

I think we are going to hang them from trees. Do you hunt that area also?

That’s your best bet. I almost got on a lease up there last year. But didn’t think I would be able to use it enough The guys who did get on had to hang from trees. All the ones they put out on legs where down the first time they went to pull cards. Neat country up there

The bears will use that feeder like a tetherball set up.

hanging them from trees will work most of the time but if they can get to it they will. my buddy tried most everything then ended up just doing cattle panels like we do here in texas around his feed pen and after that has only had 1 occurance where they went over and jacked it all up. its mainly in the offseason. during deer season they arent seen much and if so its early on.
